Data Deletion
VibeReception allows you to request deletion of all data associated with your Instagram connection. You can do this automatically by disconnecting our app from your Instagram account, or manually by contacting us via email.

Method 1: Automatic Deletion
If you disconnect VibeReception from your Instagram account through Instagram's settings, we will automatically receive a notification from Meta and immediately delete all data associated with your account.
To disconnect:
- Open the Instagram app and go to your profile
- Navigate to Settings → Website Permissions → Apps and Websites
- Find VibeReception and select Remove
Upon deauthorization, all associated data is deleted immediately from our systems.
Method 2: Manual Request
You can also request data deletion by sending an email to darling@vibereception.com with the subject line: Data Deletion Request.
Please include your Instagram username or salon name so we can locate your account.
We will process your request and complete the deletion within 30 days. A confirmation email will be sent to you when the deletion is complete.
What Gets Deleted
When we process a data deletion request, the following data is permanently removed:
- Instagram connection details, including account ID and access tokens
- Conversation history with your salon's customers
- All messages, including both customer and AI-generated messages
- Booking records created through the platform
- Customer records associated with your salon
- Lead records captured from Instagram conversations
Data Retention
Some anonymized and aggregated data may be retained for legal, compliance, or legitimate business purposes, such as financial records required by law or anonymized analytics. This retained data cannot be used to identify you or your customers.
Payment records processed through Stripe may be retained for up to 7 years, as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
